Bible Passage: 2 Kings 23:1-3

Josiah was king in Judah. Not a wimpy king with any real authority, but a king in a time and nation when everyone did whatever the king said to do. Now Josiah wanted to serve God; but the only copy of the law of God had been lost in the temple. When it was found. Josiah learned how far off track he and his people were from the way God wanted them to live. So he called a meeting with all priests it was a huge meeting.

         When they gathered they said in one voice "What is it, O king, that thou wouldst have us to do? For thine own most powerful self? Josiah said to the crowd "We found the Bible. It is the law of the lord! We have to follow in our lives but we were not doing. From now on we're going to live by the book-God's book. I'm making a commitment to God, in front of you all, I'm going to live for him." Then, one at a time, they all shouted out. I'm gonna live for God too!.

     In this story we see King Josiah who was eight years old he is influencing on others for God.

HI ! kids You have at least one choice to make all the time: will you influence people toward God and good decisions. or away from God and good decisions.?
