There was one young man by name Brian he is 23 yrs old just got out of the college he graduated in business management and he is offered a good job in a marketing company. So he plans to join the company the following week after he gets a new car to travel to his new job, so he will shop around to different auto stores and finally he finds a good model car worth of 20,000 dollars as he got some saved money from his part time job and also his parents supported him money to get the car, so he paid the car dealer the whole amount of 20,00 dollars to get the car. Then dealer said Well Mr. Brian the model you have selected will be in 2-3days at the store you can come and pick. Brian agreed to the dealer and left home 2 days passed so restlessly to Brian then he comes to store on 3rd day to pick up the car. Dealer met Brian shook his hand and he says,' Hey I'll be right back, and he comes back with a big packed box Brian took the box shakily, Dealer says Here it is Go ahead, Open the box!
Yes! In this story whom we see as Jesus and whom we see as us! Brian paid the whole price for the car! And he should get the whole new car not just spare parts of the car!!!
Well, Jesus also paid the whole price for us on the cross of Calvary And Jesus isn't any more impressed with getting spare parts of our life And honestly, that is an insult to Jesus the one who held back nothing as he paid your and mine eternal penalty he paid for all of you . As dealer gave spare parts we give some of our life to him we still hang with our entertainment, or sinful nature telling lies doing wrong things What part or parts of our life can't Jesus have? Why? Because we love this worldly things more than Jesus. We sing I surrender all but we live I surrender some. God says "you're giving me your spare parts and you're holding on to the important things for yourself. In Malachi1: 16 It is clear that God is not impressed with sacrifices that cost nothing.
So Children let all of us think silently for few minutes and ask yourself what I am holding back in our this small lives without surrendering to our Lord Jesus. Jesus loves all of us let us ask his forgiveness. And pray to him so that we give ourselves completely to him. Cut short the time in front of TV, playing games, start to spend more time in Bible reading praying and being a good child of GOD. THANK YOU
